Short Summary:

Cheyenne and Van miss the career fair and try to lie about it to Reba. She wants them to attend so that they can choose a career path and pursue a major.

Cheyenne goes over to Brock and Barbara Jean's house for advice and comfort. She decides to follow in her father's footsteps and pursue dentistry. She goes home to tell Reba about her decision. Instead of being happy that Cheyenne has finally chosen a career, Reba is upset because she thinks that a career in dentistry is unrealistic because she will not be able to stay with it and will eventually quit.

Reba brings Van and Cheyenne to a career counselor. Reba wants the counselor to tell Cheyenne that her career choice is not a good idea. Instead, Cheyenne leaves the counseling session even more certain that she wants to become a dentist.

After thinking about it for awhile, Reba realizes that she was wrong and unsupportive. She tells Cheyenne that she is sorry for not believing in her, but that was because she has never been able to complete anything she has begun. She tells her that she will support her dream of dentistry.
