Both lead actresses, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, pull off their roles successfully. Lindsay Lohan is very convincing as the mother trapped in her teenage daughter's body and Jamie Lee Curtis is hilarious playing the opposite. It's funny, entertaining, and a movie that you can bring your entire family to go see.

One of the funniest scenes was when Lohan as her Mother is trying to perform onstage with the daughter's band, and of course she has no idea how to play, or how to even act as a musician on stage. Meanwhile Curtis as the teenaged daughter sneaks onto the side of the stage and begins to coach her mom.

Of course the storyline is predictable, this movie has been redone a few times, and you know that the mother-daughter relationship will change from bad to good, but its how the story is told that helps a movie shine, and this one does. The acting is great and there are genuinely funny moments, if you like family comedies, this is not one to miss.
