ER has a tendency to just drop story lines and characters without
much notice. Take the accident that occurred in this episode, they
don’t tell you what happened with the other victims, or if
Hannah, the daughter survives. Then there is the whole Pratt and
Chen situation, they never explained the real reason for their little
tiff, or was it just that Pratt is a flirtatious bastard? And I
guess Susan is still seeing her ex-husband, but not much information
on that.
I don’t really appreciate all of the racist comments that
Frank made in this episode, but I guess that is just his character
and there are so many people like him out there. He is just angry,
all the time, it’s a reality check too. Even though it’s
the 21st century, there are STILL ignorant pricks out there, it
ain’t ever gonna change.
The new medical student seems to be a good addition to the cast.
I saw and loved “Bend it Like Beckham”, so I was excited
to find out that Parminder K. Nagra was going to join ER. Her character
seems very likeable, strong but not overzealous. I really hope that
Gallant and Neela will become a couple. I love Gallant, he is such
a good guy, and now that he has a goatee, he is looking real good!
Next weeks episode looks like a doozy, at least from the previews
it looks like an interesting episode. I enjoyed the season finale
from last season, when it took place all in Africa. It was an eye
opener to what is going on over there, and I hope next weeks episode
is just as good. I didn’t know Goran is leaving ER? Is he?
Is Luka really dead? Gotta tune in next week!
