Eddie Murphy really needed a hit to save his career after two
dismal flops, "I Spy" and "Pluto Nash". A lot
was riding on "Daddy Day Care" when it came out in theatres,
and it did pretty well at the box office. It is a cute movie, cute
kids, and a generic story line.
You know, the old fired from the job, starting your own business,
no one believes in it, setbacks, a rival, but in the end, you succeed
storyline.
Like I said before, it has its cute moments, the boy who plays
Murphy's son is adorable. Its obviously a movie for families to
go see together, so the movie serves its purpose. Although I almost
fell asleep during some parts, the kids will like it.
